We are called to community. That is the point. As followers of Christ. Not religious people. If we do not love the body of Christ I must wonder if we, therefore, do not love Christ Himself. With this in mind what are we called to by community. We’ll, look at Acts 2:42. (more…)

    Sheeran’s A Team and Purpose – Part 1

If you listen to the radio at all you’ve probably heard “The A Team” by Ed Sheeran. It hit 16 on the Billboard charts several months ago. The lyrics of the song haunts me a bit. I think the combination of the lyrics, and the fact that it got so high on the billboard charts so quickly, haunt me even more. It speaks to our culture’s view of longing and how to find something that satisfies. I want to go into this more, but the reality of our lives is that we were created to be addicted. The issue is what we’re addicted to. (more…)

In the event that you’ve been living under a rock or in a cave (where you developed some awesome armor in order to escape in a Tony Stark type ingenuity and awesomeness) then you either A) let everyone know of your armor since that will blow away anything Microsoft just developed or (more…)

CRM – Technology isn’t the Solution

At Conversatio Morum, we’re currently in the middle of talking about Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems and rethinking them as Church Relationship Management systems. We’ve previously intro’d, talked about the purpose of doing so, talked about different types of CRM’s, and why you might not want to utilize a CRM solution. You can review those posts here, here, here, and here.

Today, we are going to talk about why a CRM system isn’t actually the solution. (more…)

    CRM – Why Not?

At Conversatio Morum, we like to rethink technology for the church. Our goal is to tie Theology to Culture through the use of Technology. With that being said, we’re currently in the middle of talking about utilizing Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems as Church Relationship Management systems. We’ve previously intro’d, talked about the purpose of doing so, and talked about different types of CRM’s here, here, and here.

Today, we are going to talk about reasons why you might NOT want to use a CRM system. (more…)

Things that I didn´t expect to hear in Mexico:

1.the Nooma Nooma song (It`s weird hearing a song like this, that was written 10 years ago in Europe, is popular in Texas, on a radio in the middle of Mexico.)
    2.Eye of the Tiger
3.Any other American song that I have heard.

CRM – Choosing Right CRM Technology For Your Church

As stated in previous posts on Conversatio Morum, we are dedicated to retooling the church by making the tie from Theology to Culture through the use of Technology. With that being said, we’re currently in the middle of talking about retooling Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems as Church Relationship Management systems. We’ve previously intro’d and talked about the purpose of doing so here and here. (more…)
